AI Usage Disclosure
Last updated: March 2026
Eyecay is committed to transparency. This page discloses how we use AI tools in our work, what client data is involved, and how human expertise ensures quality and accuracy.
Our Approach to AI
Artificial intelligence tools have become a meaningful part of the digital agency toolkit. We use AI thoughtfully — as a productivity and quality tool, not as a replacement for human expertise and creative judgement. Every piece of work we deliver is reviewed, refined, and approved by experienced human professionals before it reaches you.
Where We Use AI Tools
Content Assistance
We may use AI language models (including tools built on GPT, Claude, and similar models) to:
- Draft and refine website copy as a starting point for human editing
- Generate blog post outlines and first drafts, which are then researched, fact-checked, and edited by our writers
- Produce meta descriptions and SEO copy for review and refinement
- Translate content between languages with human review for accuracy
Important: AI-generated content is always reviewed and edited by a human team member before publication. We do not publish AI output verbatim. Our editors check for factual accuracy, brand voice, and Cayman Islands-specific context.
Design Assistance
We may use AI design tools to:
- Generate design concept variations for client review
- Assist with image generation for mock-ups and presentations (clearly marked as mock-up only)
- Suggest colour palettes, layout options, and typography combinations
Final design work is executed by human designers. AI tools are used to explore options more efficiently, not to replace the creative process.
Analytics and Reporting
AI-powered analytics tools help us:
- Identify patterns in traffic and conversion data
- Generate automated performance report summaries
- Provide keyword research and competitive analysis
All analytics insights are reviewed by our team before being presented to clients in recommendations.
Development Assistance
Our developers may use AI coding assistants to:
- Suggest code completions and debug assistance
- Generate boilerplate code that is then reviewed and customised
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities
All code produced or assisted by AI is reviewed by a senior developer before deployment. We do not deploy AI-generated code without human review.
Client Data and AI
We take your data privacy seriously in the context of AI tools:
- We do not input client personal data or confidential business information into public AI tools.
- Where we use AI tools that process data, we use enterprise-grade versions with appropriate data processing agreements in place.
- Content drafts we work on for clients are not used to train AI models (we use tools with this commitment in their terms).
- If you would like us not to use any AI assistance in your project, please inform us in writing and we will accommodate this request.
Accuracy and Human Oversight
AI language models can produce inaccurate information (sometimes called "hallucinations"). Our process requires human review of all AI-assisted content to catch and correct inaccuracies. We do not represent AI-generated content as authoritative without independent verification.
For Cayman Islands-specific content (regulations, business practices, local context), we apply additional scrutiny because AI models may not have current or accurate local knowledge.
Transparency with Clients
If you ask us directly whether AI tools were used in the creation of specific deliverables for your project, we will tell you honestly. We believe this transparency builds better client relationships.
Changes to This Disclosure
As AI technology evolves, our use of these tools may change. We will update this disclosure to reflect significant changes in how we use AI. Last updated March 2026.
